In my experience of trolls it’s those defending their own behaviour that do this kind of thing. Really unpleasant.

Just had another in DM defending
#ipoet behaviour, they wouldn't defend a predator in real life. Why here? 'Oh but he is only kind to me'. It still amazes me that some think that kindness means that they couldn't possibly be an old man predator how else do they hide to befriend.
A clever #catfish knows exactly how to charm and lovebomb through grooming. They unarm their targets and display themselves as soulmates. We can only warn others of the known reality, the rest is up to them
