Thankfully all the elephants here in Bali were rescued from Sumatra and operate a completely zero brutality/cruelty in the training and management of the elephants and their mahouts.No wild animal should be ‘trained’ to exploit them for money. It’s a ‘strap line’ to con naive tourists into believing it’s a sanctuary. If they were genuine, they he elephants would be in a no human zone park looked at from a distance.

I know of people that work in replica places of this in India and they are disgusting. The government there even state it’s illegal to exploit the animals like this but do nothing as it’s ‘economy’. Not lining their pockets and educating others is the only way to stop it.
