The treatment of elephants in Thailand is brutal and cruel.
. Thankfully all the elephants here in Bali were rescued from Sumatra and operate a completely zero brutality/cruelty in the training and management of the elephants and their mahouts.

No wild animal should be ‘trained’ to exploit them for money. It’s a ‘strap line’ to con naive tourists into believing it’s a sanctuary. If they were genuine, they he elephants would be in a no human zone park looked at from a distance.

Anna, please have a read of the blog review I have just published. I am not saying it is perfect life for them, but it is a world away from the existence which they had in Sumatra
