It's not stupidity. It's deliberately disingenuous. In the thread he goes on to reinforce his disingenuity with a report of a girl, raped by her father, abortion through Planned Parenthood who then appear to have been unable or unwilling to report the abuse.

This is the same mechanism used by the far-right here over CSA victims being let down by authorities. It's wicked, but not stupid - It's actually very clever and will take equal ingenuity on our part to undermine their arguments.
