It's slow! progress but they are going a lot further. Read full Gov report/Internet Safety Strategy from last year on new online laws. Ongoing process. Plus, as someone who's had several malicious FAKE NEWS stories written/published by national media then widely repeatedly shared! on social media. I know the serious damage wider harm & legal consequences fake news can/does do. So I'm all for Gov getting tough on this.
