There is an 85:15 ratio of women to men victims. It’s mainly men but there are women too.

Yes this is from reported cases. It’s likely they could be slightly different as men are less likely to report this, also the financial catfish ( international gangs) are mainly men pretending to be women in those instances.

I agree that men are less likely to make complaints...perhaps men are less "wronged" in similar circumstances I agree there likely to be criminals targetting vulnerable men, but that is a slightly different issue

I am just perplexed that the narrative appears to be that it is only men who behave in this way....there are no female narcissists? I accept men are guilty more than women...perhaps female narcissists use different strategies also, I do not mean to discredit your standpoint

I believe it’s meant to enlighten all including narcissists themselves. I’ve read on other articles that although rare, those who do recognise this in themselves can learn to ‘keep check’ on the traits. Maybe it means this?
