It’s not about making lying a crime. It’s about deterring men from having the ability to abuse women. It’s much harder for a guy to accumulate his library off line. Online is enabling a sweetshop for easy pickings. He thoroughly enjoyed his manipulation.

Criminalising adult grooming, then. That's a murky old box you're opening there, Pandora. Aside from the pressure police are under, there are some blurred lines when it comes to 'manipulation', 'levels of vulnerability', 'hurt feelings' etc. You'd have to define these clearly.

Absolutely. But believe me, other victims not just from this lawyer, who heard my story recognise it as their own. There is a very definite pattern of behaviour to grooming. I can only liken it to the behaviour of paedophiles for adults. Also as you turn 16 protection stops.

Appreciate yr comment but the fact this man was married is if no consequence here. Many of these catfish are not married. It’s a pattern of premeditated behaviour with the intent to exploit and abuse women for sex (hidden behind a fake identity).I’ve been ‘cheated on’ this is not
