If women are unable to talk about the violence they experience other than when a prosecution or conviction has happened, then this silences women, enhances impunity for perpetrators and suppresses understanding of facts.
Exactly, it’s a very worrying time. This also worries some of us with the likes of @sra_solicitors as they will only sanction abuse in private life that has a conviction attached and we all know the chances of getting a conviction in this climate
