As you read these stories of abuse in our industry, please hear this request from a survivor: Don’t just think “Wow, how horrible, I condemn that.” Examine your own power and how you wield it. Make sure you understand consent. Let’s all really make this mean something this time.

We need to talk more about "power" and how to use it responsibly. I feel as though this is the most important issue but no one is talking about it. I may be wrong in this, but from my perspective, almost all stories we've heard are a result of misuse of power.

I feel like there's a real absence of positive, healthy models for men to see and latch onto in society and popular culture both. They are out there, but there's no cultural constant to follow, it's left to individuals to struggle with. Entertainment easily fills gaps w/bad ideas

I guess we're only supposed to believe victims and take action as long as it doesn't affect our own business directly? That's too bad too, because I had so much respect for Anna before now.
