Too many of us in the terrorism studies and adjacent communities have witnessed this pattern of gendered, racialized harassment and said nothing. It is unconscionable and it is on us to hold our own accountable.

(And by "us" I mean white scholars. Scholars of color have been doing this for years and we've chosen not to take their claims seriously enough to demand accountability and sanctions.)
