The importance of #energyinnovation was framed heavily in maintaining national security, with it currently requiring 1.5 gallons of fuel to get 1 gallon to where it's needed in combat 
Ongoing strength of the fossil fuel narrative
Whilst at UK/EU events I've attended it's accepted that ongoing fossil fuel use should be curtailed, it was apparent that the economic importance of FF to some US states cannot yet be ignored or discontinued 
Big focus on #NuclearPower innovation+ small modular reactors
Future utility scale nuclear aims to provide services inc. heat for industry+ hydrogen production; @NuScale_Power CEO discussed that the first commercial scale SMR will be online by 2026
