2/ Action that flows from the paradigm of consciousness that birthed the present status quo can only bring more of the same. Dogmatic, rivalrous, egoic consciousness remains pervasive and cannot birth world-healing action.

3/ Non-dogmatic, omni-compassionate, trans-egoic consciousness will organically birth world-healing action. To unearth this level of awareness, stillness, meditation, and deep inner work are essential. Compulsive doing is a hindrance.

4/ A huge number of well-intentioned people are attempting to take world-improving action prior to substantially integrating the shadow and healing their own trauma, resentment, and ego-identification. Such efforts cannot create true, lasting change; they often lead to war.

5/ We cannot think our way to wise, world-healing solutions; it is not as simple as a specific set of actions. We must heal ourselves and _embody_ universal love and wisdom. What we _are_ is creating our future. The energy of our being permeates everything we do or create.

6/ Tend to the being, and the doing will take care of itself. When a critical mass of people operating in a new paradigm of consciousness is reached, dysfunctional systems and norms will be ripe to transmute organically.

7/ Become Love, and all else will follow organically. Let go of that which blocks the flow of unconditional love toward yourself and all other beings.

Nice thread, thanks :) I'm interested,in your experience how have you balanced the expression of unconditional love w/ creating healthy barriers for yourself? Also, would you recommend any particular approaches to discovering+integrating shadow beyond the psychedelic experience?x

welcome! (: thx for asking disclaimer: i have not attained a state of constant unconditional love for all beings -- working on it (: however, i see boundary-setting as an expression of love; went into this in detail here:https://www.refinethemind.com/boundary-setting-life-skill/ …

re: shadow work, yes, i think actually that perhaps the most effective way to do shadow work is to have friends and/or a romantic partner (ideally both) who can point out your shadow to you. you can ask directly, "what are some of the major shadow tendencies you notice in me?"

it's invaluable to have perceptive ppl around who can give you radically honest feedback about your behavior and notice subtleties that you overlook. meditation, consistent self-awareness, noticing triggers & cognitive dissonance in yourself are also hugehttps://twitter.com/euvieivanova/status/1132682532338700288 …
