I work in texting and I don’t think these are robo texts - they’re coming from a full phone number not a short code, which usually means they’re sent by people; volunteers (or staffers). Still super gross messaging that should be called out! But not NECESSARILY illegal

A lot of Dems use texting to GOTV so I think it’s important to spread accurate info about what is and isn’t legal in the texting world
