You know what, Ann, when I was in my late 30’s I realized marriage & family wasn’t in the cards for me. So, I created my family, I adopted my son, a 7 yr old boy with special needs. Best decision in my life. Consider it!

Paleese don't giver her any ideas that would ruin a dear child's life. Can you imagine having a shrill, cuckoo woman for a mother. Dear God!! The child's life at school would be unimaginably difficult.

And when you are old enough to need caring for, whose children will it be who provide that care or pay the taxes that pay for that care? No person is an island. There IS such a thing as society, to which we all contribute and from which we all benefit. Even snivelling old crones.

Maybe. But the people who will provide all the services she will need in her old age, including financial management, will be other people's children, to whom she begrudges a decent upbringing and education. I say again, childless or not, no-one is an island.
