The mid-terms brought in even more nitwits in the House than I ever thought possible. We are in for a very bumpy ride the next two years!

When America was at its greatest, the top 1% were paying closer to 90%. This is exactly the era that
@GOP has been saying we needed to return to for the past 10 years. -
Essentially no one was paying that tax. You don’t make it for them to take. There were many more loopholes before also.

So we are punishing Americans for living the American dream who have worked their butt off to be successful? All so they can help pay for ‘green’ that no one wants but the minority of the population who just yell yell and yell
-
Not all of them worked their butts off.. not even close to how hard the lower classes work If you tax them, that money will circulate right back to them anyways. Circulation is far better for OUR economy than wealth socked away in foreign investments
-
The rich need that money to invest, not GIVE to the poor
-
invest where? Overseas? In stock buybacks? The poor, when some wealth is redistributed, become customers, and fuel business. That's why businesses grow, and need to hire. Its a virtuous cycle. That money bounces around and trickles back up anyways When has trickle-down worked?
-
What makes you think that you have the right to take what others earn. That makes you a thief.
-
I give a lot more in taxes than I receive This taxation-as-theft argument is old as time, i guess Concerns over titanic wealth disparities are, too. Even Roman Emperors knew it became a problem, if it got too severe

B) For a generation now we have taught migrants to rely upon handouts. When they went to college we taught them to be socialists and to hate America. Congratulations, we succeeded!
