California is the 5th largest economy in the world.

If tech left, it wouldn't be. That's not because of California's stellar policies. Its because of a duopoly empire being built in silicon valley.
-
Poor argument. Tech isn't going anywhere. You might as well state the US wouldn't be a world power if it's military left. Furthermore, agriculture & entertainment (Hollywood) are enormous contributors to the CA economy.
-
The amount of money being brought in doesn't matter, if the California government is taxing its people into poverty and racking up a massive debt that the "5th largest economy" isn't paying for. Wait till Cali tries to pay off its debt by removing tech indistry's tax breaks.
-
Virginia has a higher tax rate than California but ok.
-
That doesn't negate that California gets its tax dollars from somewhere other than the tech industry... Or that california is the highest in debt, highest homeless and highest poverty rate of the nation. Its weird how the super rich and super poor are in one state...
-
Lol this isn’t true.

As machiavelli once wrote, problems are easy to fix before they become problems but difficult to detect, and less and less possible to fix as it becomes increasingly too late to fix them.

Oh you mean 5th largest economy in the world CA? Or producer of agriculture CA? Or the Tech industry giant CA? Or the entertainment capital CA? Yeah, thought so!
-
There are more things wrong with California than there are things right with California. Taxes, homelessness, disease, cost of living, over regulation, under funded, over populated, pollution, pedophilia... I’ve been to CA numerous times. The stench of urine is unforgettable.

Thankful nobody cares about your opinion of California

-
Except the huge numbers of people leaving the state due to these disastrous policies, you're absolutely right!pic.twitter.com/TeOuQp16Q3

People leaving California because they can’t afford to live there is completely different than people leaving because they don’t like it. In one of the biggest economies in the country, like NYC, some people are just never going to afford to live there and are forced to return.

Ca with about 12% of US population has 35% of welfare recipients. 2nd highest welfare payout per capita and richest anchor bby welfare payout. Regardless what they think, pay no more into the federal system per capita than most states and they have a 2.3 trillion debt monster.

Because foreigners cause forest fires, Ann?
-
No because as they take over our government positions we lower the competence levels required for these jobs.
-
I agree that only Native Americans should be in charge of forestry.
-
Agreed
