Yes, because it makes perfect sense to have non-tactically trained citizens all firing wildly in an enclosed space at a bar after consuming alcohol and amid heightened panic, fear, and utter chaos.pic.twitter.com/pd3O2aOGdy

It's the deterrent effect of concealed carry and not people wildly shooting in an enclosed space which makes shooters like this reevaluate their target.
-
That's a supposition. A theory that's untested. However, making guns harder to get into the hands of shooters seems like more of an absolute. Look at countries with stricter gun laws and a diminished culture of gun violence for proof.
-
It's untested because there is no money to test it. We can only go with the data that is currently available and extrapolate theories as to why certain reductions in violent crime is reduced. Guns are not easy to get, especially in California, yet gun crime still happens.
-
The ease of which to get a gun in the U.S. has been studied and proven time after time. The NRA and GOP fights tooth and nail to keep all avenues open - even for the mentally ill. This is a conversation non-starter. Arming untrained civilians as gun policy is stunningly stupid.
-
The argument that getting an gun is "easy" is not a valid response to the issue of whether or not concealed carry reduces crime.
-
Imagine you're in a dark and crowded bar. You had a few drinks and are having a great time. Gun fire starts and suddenly 20 people are standing around you holding a gun. How do you know who the bad guy is? Panic sets in and people just start shooting each other.
-
How many CCWs do you think there are in communities that allow them? Even in Florida there could potentially be 10 people with a CCW, and even that is assuming on the high end. Most people who go through the effort to obtain a CCW have put in time to train. I would feel safe.

All security guards must maintain a weapons drawn and extended in a crouched ready to fire position...at ALL times. In fact, everyone should just walk around like this. Otherwise you're just squish who refuses to protect your loved ones. /s

Exactly. And gun laws only keep guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens, not the guy who buys a pistol from a drug dealer in the 711 parking lot.
-
Strangely though. The vast majority of mass shootings are perpetrated by people who bought guns legally.
-
Completely disingenuous. There are "mass shootings" every weekend in Chicago or LA, but since there are more shooters and each happen concurrently, suddenly its not a mass shooting despite 100+ murders.
-
Talk about mass shootings when they're committed by fools planning murder on public events, places, or even schools etc. Drive-bys and everyday american gun violence ,whether a strap is legal or not, is another statistic entirely.
-
Its the same thing. Focusing on nomenclature is what midwits do.

Really? If a young dark skinned man with a full beard walks into a Country music bar shooting and you are talking about guns. Then You are not helping.

Who would go attack a bar full of armed people?
-
Guns and alcohol mix well.

We need robots with guns that have guns mounted on the guns.
