Exactly, they did not sponsor the workshop nor contribute. It was irresponsible to write a blog post like that.

I was there and although I did not attend that specific workshop, there was a day that was organized in part by Li Erran Li and Andrew Gray; both of whom are part of Uber's Advanced Technologies Group (ATG).
