The problem is that this violence occurred in a university setting between a student and a former student. And I work at a university...

The most important thing I produce is students. And the victim could have been one. Or another might be sitting at a desk across from me...

The outcome here is unconscionable to me...

I also posted in fb. Was worried about posting gender issues. As a woman, worry being pigeon holed or worse targeted by trolls

have trolls posting on my public facebook page. i regularly have to block them. decided to take strong stance no matter what

sigh. I guess I'm not shocked :( sorry you have to deal with that :(

we need fb, twitter, google and other companies provide better tools to handle trolls, better detection: these are easy to do
