Really? I’ve never heard of the ipad women’s hygiene product but Nips was a very common derogatory slur (exact spelling). Any Japanese friends in the US would have heard it and hated it. Watch any 1950s-60s WWII movie if you want to see it used. Your defense of NIPS is nonsense.

The Japanese people I know found it funny. But then again, being offended on other people's behalf is a woke specialty. (And the point is, people can distinguish between NIPS and body parts, just as they can between iPads and hygiene pads.)
