I was recuperating from medical insurance when @pmddomingos tweeted about slippery slope nonsense. Exactly same arguments used to stop @NeurIPSConf name change. Privileged don't want even the minimum accountability because they are insecure their hold on power will be minimized

Anima, the NIPS name change was a terrible idea, and the community properly rejected it. What's sad is that in the end you still managed to get the acronym changed to the current clunky, confusion-promoting one.

People like you are why women and minorities have a terrible time in #AI community. You will gain a lot of followers on reddit. You belong there! Community is moving towards @InclusionInML @WiMLworkshop @black_in_ai @_LXAI @QueerinAI Move on. You are out of touch.
