Exactly. Rarely do you hear the media praise the employees of Space X, or Amazon, or Google. They always seem to attribute company success to CEO's as if they don't have an entire team of employees working day and night to make success happen.

What is Musk contribution to SpaceX? He just gives weird names to the different scales of vessels? Why are people appropriating a businessman with some coding skill with being “rocket scientist” and a “battery engineer”. Not to detract from his overall business plan ideas

According to Wikipedia, "He is the founder, CEO, CTO and chief designer of SpaceX." He's a fairly knowledgeable team member who talks about what SpaceX is doing, in ways that make concepts easier for the general public to understand. A science communicator, if you like.
