I am turning all talk and committee invitations that refuse to allow virtual participation after pandemic is over. Never going back to unsustainable lifestyle of heavy travel.

A limited amount is good. But it should be optional. They can't force people to travel

That I agree. It should be optional. I have a friend who is a top notch real analyst. She can't travel because of health issues, and I think she has paid a price professionally, which is unfair. I think optional will become the norm post-pandemic.
