I just donated to @Wikipedia. If you have spare $$$, you should too. https://donate.wikimedia.org/?utm_medium=SocialMedia&utm_campaign=ThankYouPage&utm_source=Twitter&uselang=en …

Yeah, that's unfortunate. If someone set up a company to organize editing pages of under-represented groups on wikipedia, I'd donate to that too. But in this world of Facebook, FOX News, NY Times, etc., I still think Wikipedia is worth supporting.

@Wikipedia is indeed an issue, however, note that when you donate usually $$ goes to WMF, not the volunteer editors. WMF donates big part of this to projects and events (editathons) that some of them are already working to fix biases https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:Project/Rapid/Browse_applications#Funded_proposals_2020-2021 … -
I do however agree, that the Wikipedia system has its issues. e.g. the controversy around Sarah Hegazi article in Ar Wiki. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Hegazi … I am not sure though what could be a solution to this without WMF intervening in article writing or admin selection.
