Voy a ver paper.

The methodology is applicable to any parametric pde family. What did you have in mind? @ZongyiLiCaltech

Any turbulent problem where the small scales contribute to the large scales via dissipation but also some inverse-cascade process, e.g., development of large-scale flows in rotating turbulent convection, or the dynamo mechanism in MHD. I'm right @el_pachocamacho?

yes, as you may know the main limitation to achieve High Reynolds number in traditional numerical simulations is the resolution. These "meshless" methods seem promising in attaining, in a faster and cheaper(?) way, high fidelity simulations of turbulent flow.
