She is such a firebrand. She brings a sense of fierceness to this democratic ticket which was just not there with just Biden (IMO).
As an #IndianAmerican #woman I am so proud that @KamalaHarris is the VP pick. I have been so disappointed many white men outright dismiss her to my face in a tonedeaf manner. I am inspired that hasn't stopped her in her journey. #GoKamala

As an Indian man, I would have been more glad if we (the voters) looked past the identity of the politician and focussed more on their skillset. This is not to say that Kamala isn't a skilled politician. Supporting a candidate for her gender, ethnicity promotes identify politics.

Identity* Politics. If we think that white men in America have been supporting white men ( while discarding merit) is not good for the country, then we at the very least should make efforts to recognise when we fall into the trap of same cognitive bias (tribalism).
