Don't expect ethical behavior from a person who dismisses society's and NGOs' demads for DL interpretability as a "nuisance" and a "hurdle" to the continued funding of his research, even when these demands come from smarter people than him like Pearl and Marcus.

A bit off topic, but whenever I'm in a meeting and some genius goes off on how Microsoft's "Tay" bot failed and became racist, I usually speak up and say, maybe the bot was echoing the MS Bot's user base. The white people in the meeting get squirmy at this point.
