In the ideal world (the one we we strive for) Shotwell should get most of the credit. In the real world (in which we live in and are celebrating accomplishments therein), I think it belongs to both of them. We don't have to put one against the other in either of the worlds.
You completely miss the misogyny and sexism that prevent putting together spotlight on women. Disappointed that you go to such lengths to defend musk instead of allowing for some simple possibilities

I completely agree that misogyny and sexism is rampant and is at play here. My original (and current) point was actually that she deserves a lot more credit than she is getting (50x more :), but that we don't have to be antagonistic towards Musk

But I am aligned with you (and actually said so!) that we should be striving for an ideal world - one which values bluster less - and one where she should be getting a lot more credit than Musk.
