Prof. Anima Anandkumar

I don't really get why he's getting so out and about with his actions and words. He seems set on a trajectory of collision with a lot of values many people hold dear. From a mere marketing and CEO perspective, wouldn't it be better to be less a tad less blunt?

What is he trying to achieve? To build a wall and then hit it hard so to find a plausible excuse for some up and coming failure? Preparing some political involvement? Playing a very risky bet on the future political scenario?

I hope someday people can look back and see that AI researchers saw the fraud all along when VCs were licking @elonmusk 's boots. Oh look a Tesla stopped automatically at a red light, wow!

Tenured prof's can say what they want.. because they will anyway get paid.. The tweet reminds me of an old comment from Marie Antoinette.. "The people have no bread!" and the response was "then let them eat cake"
