Not a Musk fanboy, but this is a new level of sh*t-headedness from government representatives. With more than 10,000 people working at Tesla’s Fremont factory, you don’t want to rock that boat. Manufacturing is more mobile than these politicians think.https://twitter.com/LorenaSGonzalez/status/1259287879177531392 …

Who is being reckless here?? Elon can keep tweeting whatever nonsense and can get away. Why should the politicians be appeasing to such sociopaths? There will be other jobs. World doesn't revolve around Elon. I am disappointed that you are his supporter. I expected better

Just because I wrote this tweet, it doesn’t make me his supporter. The world isn’t black and white. There are a lot of issues with Elon, but sending your last manufacturing plant packing out of the state when there is >20% unemployment rate nationwide is reckless.

Musk wanted to re-open a state that has so far done a good job of controlling Covid. Exposing 30 million to a costly disease seems less reckless than losing some jobs your state heavily subsidizes.

Possible what you’re saying is true. But how you handle something is important too. I expect better than “f*ck Elon” as a strategy for a politician, unless the strategy was to enrage people. In which case, I think it’s a phenomenal success.

We should all proclaim "f**k Elon" we have elevated these sociopaths and given them way too much power. We can create better jobs without them
