Tears rolled down my eyes as I watched a woman become president in a TV series. In reality #notmypresident is devoid of any empathy and is killing thousands. I doubt we will see a woman president in my lifetime given pervasive #sexism Humanity will pay heavily because of that

USA is not representative of the whole world. There have been many leaders, premiers, presidents and queens through the ages. And quite successful at that. Just look at yourself! This here is just a strange, twisted, weird anamoly.

It is correct that the US is not a good representative for the global rates of women in positions of power (see, e.g., Germany, Finland, UK etc.), nevertheless, the latter are not devoid of sexism and the cost that comes with it including alienation of talent in any gender.

At some point we’ll see a comparison of how female & male mayors, governors, etc did at preventing covid’s spread (s responding heroically)—& I think the women, from London Breed to Laura Kelly, will look good. Of course, you could still be right.
