Agree with all points above. Important to mention alongside that masks alone cannot and should not replace social distancing and hand hygiene, but can be helpful if used together!

@lexfridman blocked me when I questioned him about ethics of publicizing his work on Tesla auto pilot without peer review. He is not ethical and I am sad that you partnered with him2 replies 2 retweets 4 likes -
I often block people - not necessarily for any reason other than lack of emotional energy; I'm not sure that's inappropriate. I recommend people block liberally - otherwise twitter can be exhausting!

And I think the traditional peer review process is awful gate-keeping.

I am sorely disappointed at this response and complete lack of empathy or any respect for peer review. I find this awful. There is a lot of fake news around

I know we disagree on this - and I'd like to be able to do so respectfully and understanding that it's a complex issue. I simply don't agree that peer review stops fake news. I think it allows bad actors to hide and maintains a status quo I find deeply problematic.

By "peer review" I mean the current approach involving exclusive clubs and status games. As opposed to the open peer review that we see when people communicate in the open - such as here.

Lex Fridman blocked me from engaging in open peer review like you describe. He is only interested in propagating fake news. I avoid associating with such people.
