When original title made multiple uncomfortable, I changed it. Unlike Aaronson and @sapinker I am open to changes that create a better environment! Names are powerful. People are quick to call out my usage of neo-Nazis but turn a blind eye to NIPS/Supremacy issues

It’s sad how often we choose to celebrate and hero-worship specific scientists instead of their specific ideas.
Everyone is capable of having both incredibly bad ideas and good ideas on a spectrum of topics.
Why does @sapinker’s prior work have any weight in this discussion?

@sapinker used his reputation as expert testimony so Epstein escape justice while fully being aware of his crimes. He should not be allowed to use his weight as expert for anything in human society. I am surprised Aaronson find him “well calibrated” and give him platform.

Sorry what's the irony? Aaronson is not saying that women in science are too sensitive, but that those asking for name-change were too insensitive. There were plenty of women against name change. Stop erasing them.
