I'm tired of the trope that AI research is stuck because we are looking in the wrong places or have an incorrect paradigm. AI research is "stuck" because AI is intrinsically difficult!

I believe that's the common use of 'guy' these days.
It is meant to be because we don't have a good word in English. But rarely do I picture a woman in my mind, when I say 'guy'. Same is true for almost everyone

English will eventually make the transition. In my other tongue, there's no gender differentiation.
