Thank you @lpachter Yuval Peres was my harasser when I was young and powerless. It is an outrage that he continues to get invited to universities. Enablers are biggest problems. @Microsoft shielded him for decades. @satyanadella @erichorvitz @MeTooSTEM #MeToo

I feel ashamed to have been part during my PhD and post-doc of a scientific community covering and shielding this kind of behavior. I can only be sorry.

Remorse and speaking out about it is a great start! What are ways that you can use your current status in the community to amplify the voices of the harassed and push for an end to these practices? I'd love to learn how to do this better.
