I once had a male colleague lecture me on feminism . He proceeded to tell me what my experience was like at a woman’s college
In a recent panel, on improving #diversity, my male co-panelist gave a long winded explanation that amounted to having female immigrants from developing world! I started talking about deep systemic issues in our community only to be cut off because we don't have time for that.

I have seen this happen in women in tech conferences where men are invited to make sure they are part of the conversation, however they end up taking up the maximum time among the panelists. This becomes annoying attendees who have seen this happen too many times.
