The same is true in #healthcare. Unless technology can develop a “gut”, it will never come close to diagnosing. Unfortunately no amount of ML will lead one to a “gut”.
No one is disputing programs like darpa are vital for basic research. I have been supported by such programs. But trying to find neuro factors for gun violence using smart devices is not grounded in solid science
