DeepNude will not die, it will continue to propagate in dark web. Problem goes deeper. Women have always been shamed and threatened. Back in my undergrad I was told that my fellow students had photoshopped my face onto nude bodies because they were mad that I topped my class.

Too disappointed with their behaviour. I think DeepNude show the other side of deep learning, the dangerous and killer side of this sword. Ethics in AI is unbelievably important to prevent such toxic behaviour.
You cannot prevent other adults from doing things. You can only create a community where work like that is shunned and there are consequences. But you cannot control other people's actions, and so that has nothing to do with ethics.
I unfortunately agree with this. It will not die. It will carry on as a zombie app on dark net. And anyway the enablers are there ready for any adolescent male (or/and much worse) to take, replicate and further develop.

Thank you. I don't know how widespread it was and who was involved. I didn't want to hear any thing more about it. Most of guys I knew were very respectful and my friends. But sad part is the few bad apples ruin it for everyone. It is the same story with deepnudes.
