Ignorance is not the solution for a better environment to do science. This kind of sexist trolling is sick, and it needs to be called out. The least we can do is to voice our support for women and not be ignorant of such misogynistic trolls, it sends exactly the wrong message. 
Wow this is much worse than I thought. Internet is a hostile place for women. Over the past year I have faced so much toxicity online. It has convinced me that social media needs to be regulated. While we should help women engage more in STEM, this shouldnt be done on other peoples expense nor through inapproperiate means. Attaching a face to such a major contribution is most definitely not correct.
