It is sad to see how much backlash+misinformation propagated against Katie Bowman. But not surprised @Twitter and online media is a terrible place for women. I think media went overboard and didn't independently check all facts before publishing, and gave entire credit of the blackhole image to Dr. Katie, this started the backlash. I came to know abt other astrophysicists such as
