you do know that it's pretty much an open secret that there is preferential hiring of women in tech? I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but please remember the struggles of many decent men who can't find jobs despite their higher qualifications compared to the women hired.

Agreed that we lose far too many. And so many before they even have a chance to discover that love. Been trying to convince my younger sister to pursue a quantitative career. She is resistant. I have no answer to the immense unfairness that she would face.
