There was one other interesting thing about the results of the survey, the way it was done. If all men were to vote no to name change, and all women were to vote yes for name change, then the original result (that is no name change) would have remained the same. 1/2

An interesting point I once saw made that is particularly relevant to this - if we ask if everyone is okay with some policy, we're ignoring all the people who have left because of the policy.
