          I would argue that ner-ips is the proper full pronunciation, but nerps is a perfectly fine fast version. Like Tren ton (NJ) vs Trent’n

          I agree. Folks it is #NeuRIPS instead of #NeurIPS2018 :) Same spelling, easier to say.
