From the comments only now I get to know he had severe sanctions from @MSFTResearch and @UW I wish I knew that when I was junior and felt powerless. I felt so worthless being this toxic environment

And issue with Yuval Peres was not 1-1 dinner. I do it regularly with male researchers. When he invited me to the pool, he gave me the looks. It was unmistakable textbook sexual harassment. It also seemed that this was routine for him

My mother had to deal with a similar situation during her time in the military. It's an unfortunate thing to happen and certainly infuriating! I'm glad you posted. The more we hold people accountable for these actions, the less toxic our field will be for future researchers.
