I have blocked tens of trolls today. most obvious ones spew misogynistic hatred. others clothe it as a honest argument and will veer off in usual directions : men have nipples too (yeah dude and whose are objectified and made fun of) it is just a name (so let's change it!) blah.

The name change fiasco by @NipsConference is part of a deeper problem. It is run like a dictatorship with no elections, no townhall, no transparency. Can't think of any other major conference run this way. #ai #ml deserves better. #ProtestNIPS
Bullying and trolling for just speaking up about @NipsConference name change is shameful. I can speak up, but still feel emotionally exhausted. Others are less fortunate. I am really having hard time understanding how can a person be strongly against the name change. Not supporting is one thing but being against it sounds unexplainable.
