The name is unfortunate, and I agree with your points in the change petition. But could there be a possible contradiction here? If you reject the use of polls for issues of bias, then what purpose will the change petition serve? 1/2
The petition on @Change is not a poll. It is a grassroots activism effort to let @NipsConference board know the massive support the name change has. It is real paper as opposed to anonymous voting numbers
