That is true I applied to come because I wanted to talk to people about how clueless and misguided it was. There were other events like @WiMLworkshop and I didn't end up going

. I mean, we spoke to some of the WiML organizers. We picked the date for our event a year before. They were miffed they couldn't make it so we offered free Ubers between the two events so ladies could do both. According to our Uber bill, 48 rides were utilized.
