I do feel, after having read a LOT of material on the subject n incels that there is a genuinely interesting and valid discussion to be had about the effect of intimacy (and lack thereof) on longterm mental health and wellbeing, and why people are feeling so excluded.

I believe a lack of intimacy can have a negative effect in the long term - but this is just anecdotal. Depression, loneliness. Incels manifest it in a disgusting, projective sense, so add layers of bitterness on top of what a more well adjusted person would feel.

They definitely externalize their issues with body image. self worth, and feelings of rejection. It's easier to blame women and society at large than acknowledge their success lays on their shoulders. Not to say some folks aren't born with more hurdles to overcome than others

They pretty much clump together and become an echochamber of misogyny. I hope the media dont focus on them too hard. I dont want people who lack intimacy and are consistently unsuccessful, like myself, to be stigmatised as a potential incel. Its hard enough already. :/
