I'd expect IQ to be a less noisy predictor the lower you go on job totem pole. Fewer degrees of freedom in decision-making, and less sales-dependent generally.

And coincidentally the lower you go on the totem pole, reliable signals about a candidate are less available. Might be a market opportunity to IQ 'screen' & vet these people in a legally grey way.
