@____728190 I think this relates to my hunch that qualia are about homomorphic encryption and why getting closer to 'the metal' seems to bring up a lot of security-related stuff. (universe that doesn't write protect itself ends crashing, maybe? quid iuris of chaos)

Have you been down the rabbit hole of physical examples of quantum error-correction? e.g. https://arxiv.org/pdf/0708.4025.pdf … https://arxiv.org/pdf/1411.7041.pdf …

Only a little, mainly instigated by https://arxiv.org/abs/cs/0703018 and https://arxiv.org/abs/1401.1219 I get the feeling this "territory" has its share of treasures waiting to be found but not enough of a galaxy brain to put it all together.

That quanta mag story is also part of why this intrigued me: https://arxiv.org/abs/1605.07768 Specially as ML seems to get closer and closer to it. ( https://arxiv.org/abs/1710.10784v1 … )

I'm not even really "supposed" to be learning physics but it just keeps showing up.

The 'it from qubit' story appeals to me on a deep intuitive level.. probably the way Yud feel about many worlds.
